At the hub of all the activities at the Scioto River Hunting Club is the three story alpine log lodge. On the lower level is the club house, office and public-use facilities. Here one can enjoy the snack bar, sign-in for shooting and hunting, rent guns, and purchase ammunition and safety gear (ear and eye protection are required). On the main level is a rustic "Great Room" with dining and sitting areas featuring a natural stone fireplace (wood provided) and spectacular big game mounts. Fully equipped kitchen, bath room with shower and access to a wrap-around deck with gas grill. The upper level has three bedrooms (one queen bed, 6 twin beds) and a full bath, providing overnight accomodations for up to eight people. Bed and bath linens are provided. The "Great Room" and bedroom levels are smoke-free. The lodge is available for special events and occasions, meetings and overnight stays with reservations and deposits requred. If catering services are required, a list of area caterers is available at the club office. |
